Compliance Copy That Stays Legible at Press Speed

CBD cartons carry more mandatory text than almost any other consumer pack — milligram strength, batch and lot codes, extraction method, servings, warning statements and a lab-report QR code. Cramming that onto a small panel is where most artwork falls apart. We set minimum type sizes we know hold their edge on kraft and coated board, keep the QR inside a clean quiet zone, and leave a variable-data window for batch codes so you are not reprinting plates for every run.

Colour consistency matters just as much. Pantone matching on offset and litho-laminated runs keeps your greens, creams and blacks identical between the first order and the tenth, which is what wholesale buyers notice when two batches sit side by side.

Materials, Sustainability and Shelf Presence

Most CBD packaging runs on 14pt to 24pt SBS for a clean retail facing, uncoated kraft for a natural hemp-forward look, or E-flute corrugated when the pack doubles as a shipper. Recycled and FSC-certified stock is available across every structure, printed with soy-based inks and finishable without plastic lamination if you need a kerbside-recyclable claim.

For premium lines, soft-touch film with foil on the logo, spot UV over a leaf mark, or a blind emboss lifts the box in the hand without adding freight weight. Those finishes also photograph well, which matters when most of your CBD sales start on a product listing rather than a shelf.
