Kraft board says natural before the copy does
Kraft CBD oil boxes work because the material makes the claim for you. An uncoated brown carton with one or two clean colours of print reads as plant-based more convincingly than a glossy box saying the same thing in words. Hemp buyers check materials as closely as they check the certificate of analysis.
Cartons run on 350gsm recycled kraft with soy-based inks and no plastic lamination, so the whole pack goes into paper recycling in one piece.
Designing for an absorbent surface
Kraft drinks ink. Colours shift warmer, fine type thickens slightly, and photographic images lose contrast. We design around that instead of fighting it: solid one or two colour artwork, generous letter spacing, and 7pt minimum on legal copy so the counters stay open after press gain.
Where a range needs bright colour, a white flood base can be printed first, then colour over the top. It keeps the kraft edge visible while giving the front panel more punch.
Sizing and protection for glass bottles
The dieline is cut to your 15ml, 30ml or 50ml bottle with about 1mm of play, so the glass does not rattle in transit. A fluted kraft cradle or die-cut base pad supports the dropper end. Straight tuck end suits shelf display, reverse tuck is faster for hand packing, and a tamper seal position is marked on the flap.
Finishing, quantity and lead time
Keep it plain, or add gold or copper foil on the logo, a blind deboss, or a spot matte varnish. All three sit well on uncoated kraft without breaking the natural look.
Minimum order is 50 boxes, with a free dieline and 3D mockup before print and 8 to 10 working days production. Pantone matching keeps repeat orders consistent.
