Child-resistant closure without a confusing box
Child-resistant CBD oil boxes have one job: an adult opens them easily, a small child does not. We use a push-and-slide sleeve and tray. The tray only releases when two side tabs are pressed together, so the motion needs a hand span and a bit of grip strength that toddlers have not developed yet.
The mechanism is built into the board, not bolted on, so the box still folds flat for storage and still prints edge to edge.
Built to hold glass safely
Tincture bottles are heavy for their size. The tray is cut from 1.2mm greyboard or E-flute with a fitted cradle that stops the bottle sliding into the dropper end. For two-bottle kits we split the tray into separate wells so the glass never touches glass. Drop-tested at 1.2m with the bottle inside, which is the height most parcels get handled at.
Panels for the legal copy
Hemp retail packaging carries warnings, CBD content per serving, batch number and a certificate of analysis link. The sleeve gives you four clean panels plus the tray face, so nothing needs to be squeezed to 5pt. QR codes sit at 20mm on an unvarnished area, and the tamper seal position is marked on the dieline so your fulfilment team seals in the same place every time.
Materials, print and lead time
Choose 350gsm SBS for bright colour or recycled kraft for a natural look. Finishes include matte lamination, spot UV, soft-touch film and foil stamping on the logo. Offset printing with Pantone matching keeps brand greens consistent across repeat runs.
Minimum order is 50 units. We supply a free dieline and 3D mockup, and can send a physical closure sample before you commit. Production is 8 to 10 working days.
