Macarons are the most fragile thing a bakery sells. The shell cracks if it moves even a few millimetres against a hard edge, so the insert matters far more than the box.

We cut the insert so each macaron sits in a bay with 1mm of clearance, no more. That is tight enough to stop movement in transit and loose enough that a customer can lift one out without breaking the foot. Bay diameter is cut to your shell size, since a 45mm and a 50mm macaron behave very differently in the same tray.

The outer carton is 400gsm board, printed to your artwork. Pastel palettes are still the most requested, and they print far more accurately in offset than digital, which is why we recommend offset on runs above 500.
