We die-cut a paperboard collar sized to the tube shoulder so it sits vertical inside the carton from packing to shelf. It adds a few cents per unit and takes out most of the leak complaints brands see in their first year.

Matte finishes suit this category, and a matte laminate with a spot UV logo gives contrast without adding a second print pass. On deep plum and black artwork we add an anti-scuff coating, because dark matte marks easily in a crowded shipper.
