We cut the bolster from fibre and face it in flock or velvet, then set it centrally so the clasp can be tucked underneath out of sight. Bangle versions get a taller bolster since a rigid bangle needs more lift to sit proud.
Box footprint stays square, around 95mm, which frames the round shape better than a rectangle does.
