The insert is a separate lift-out piece rather than a glued-in tray. That lets a customer take out two cupcakes without tipping the other two, and it lets you reuse the outer carton for a plain four-pack if the insert is not needed.
Board is 350gsm food-grade stock with a locking base. We keep the wall height at 105mm as standard, which clears a normal swirl, and go taller on request for tall frosting or toppers.
