For heavy things
A small kitchen machine, a lamp or a set of tools can weigh many kilos. A single-wall box can bend or burst under that load. Double wall board has two layers of flutes, so it is much harder to crush.
You can see the two layers on the cut edge of the board. That extra layer is what keeps the box square when it is stacked in a truck.
Blocks keep it still
Heavy items move with great force when a van brakes. We add card blocks or corner pieces that hold the product in place. This stops it from sliding and hitting the side of the box.
Plain, strong and honest
Most brands ship heavy goods in plain kraft. It is cost-effective and recyclable. You can add a logo and handling marks such as "this way up" in one colour.
Size and weight matter
Please tell us the full size and the weight of your product. We use the weight to choose the right board grade, not just the size. If you can, send a sample so we can test the fit.
